Donovan served in the United States Army from 1989 - 1998. He piloted the AH1 Cobra during his time in service and attended the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1995 - 1997.

After Donovan’s service in the U.S. Army, he worked as a Systems Engineer for Bally Technologies from 2002 - 2016.

Upon leaving Bally Technologies, Donovan co-founded Count on the Cloud, a successful full service booking keeping firm where currently serves as CTO.

Donovan is a devout believer in Jesus Christ and a firm supporter of the Second Amendment Right to Bear Arms. He lives with his wife Kristi and son Hank in Granbury, Texas.

Donovan serves on American Defense Coalition’s Board of Directors as Treasurer.
