Brad founded American Defense Coalition with one simple mission: to ensure that every law-abiding American has access to high-quality training in firearms, first aid, self-defense, and preparedness—regardless of their financial situation. ADC operates on a "pay what you can" model, meaning that if a student can't cover the full cost of training, the organization pays the difference. Critical training should never be out of reach due to money.

Brad’s passion for preparedness started when he realized that one day, he would have a family to protect. As a result, he dedicated himself to learning gun safety, proficiency, and overall preparedness. But like many, he faced financial barriers to training. That experience motivated him to become a firearms instructor in 2019, earning certifications as an NRA Pistol Instructor and a Texas DPS-licensed instructor for License to Carry and First Responder LTC courses. He has since instructed hundreds of students in these areas. Brad also prioritizes his own training, understanding that instructors should be held to the highest standard. This has led him to seek and complete training with industry-leading professionals like John Lovell and Paul Perkerson of Warrior Poet Society.

Beyond ADC, Brad has spent more than 15 years in the fitness industry and currently owns two gyms—Mission Fit and Lift the Bar Fitness. He lives in Granbury, TX, with his wife, Haley, and their two daughters, Lily (6) and Charlotte (2).
